Tasting Notes
Greg Sherwood 93
This stunning French Malbec shows alluring aromatics of violets, sapidity, delicate whole bunch spice, sweet tobacco wrapper, lightly bruleed coffee beans, and a dusty granitic minerality. The palate bristles with a steely fresh acidity that frames attractive layers of blue of purple fruits concentrated tightly on a steely taut palate with fine grained chalky mineral tannins, seductive hints of vanilla pod spice and a cool, stony, graphite finish. A more classical expression of Malbec than Argentinian expressions but still retains a sultry, seductive accessible demeanour. A very distinguished, modern, forward looking expression of French Malbec. Drink now to 2036+. [Greg Sherwood MW, 10/06/2026]
