The 2023 Savage Salt River Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of fruit from a 32-year-old bushvine vineyard in Stellenbosch and a coastal site in Walker Bay. It presents aromas of orange blossom and grapefruit pith, with a palate bursting with gooseberries, elderflower, starfruit, white currants, passionfruit, and pomelo. The wine is textured and fresh, with a long finish and a crisp Atlantic sea spray freshness. Ideal pairings include goat’s cheese, mushrooms, seafood, and shellfish.
