The 2021 Peregrine Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand’s Central Otago is crafted from organically certified fruit, with a blend of 60% from Peregrine Estate Bendigo and 40% from Cromwell Basin. The wine features expressive aromas of kaffir lime, honeydew melon, and guava, leading to a palate of lemongrass, citrus, and tropical fruit. The 2021 vintage benefited from a warm, dry spring and cooler growing season, producing smaller berries with intense, pure flavors. The McLachlan family has been hands-on in winemaking since 1998, aiming to reflect the best of Central Otago in every bottle.
