Description
The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Sous Le Puits is a concentrated, terroir-driven Chardonnay from one of Puligny’s highest-altitude sites. Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in oak barrels, with 20% renewed each year, and aged on fine lees for 12 months. The wine is refined in stainless steel vats for six months. Grown on deep clay-limestone soil, the old vines (planted between 1951 and 1982) produce a wine with power, freshness, and complexity. The Larue family manages the vineyard, ensuring a precise and elegant expression of Puligny.
