Description
The 2018 Org de Rac Die Waghuis Rooi is an organic Swartland blend of Shiraz, Mourvèdre, Grenache, and Verdelho. Vibrant ripe fruit, soft tannins, and fragrant aromas create a well-balanced, medium-bodied wine with a lingering finish.
Grenache was fermented whole-bunch, followed by Shiraz and Mourvèdre on combined skins, then aged separately in French oak. Sourced from shale-rich slopes of the Piketberg Mountain, it pairs beautifully with duck, hearty stews, or ripe cheeses.
