January may encourage restraint, but we prefer good judgment. For a limited time, we’ve taken a handful of our favourite bottles from the Museum Wines shelves and marked them down, ensuring you save at least 20% on everything. Carefully chosen, impeccably sourced, and entirely unapologetic.
From serious, cellar-worthy bottles to reliable everyday favourites (you know, the ones that don’t need an occasion), this is an excellent excuse to restock, explore, or quietly ignore January’s advice altogether. The sale runs until the end of the month, while stocks last.

An Unlikely Dry January
Cherry red with violet rims. Fresh nose, with aromas of berries and black fruits. The wood is very well integrated into the wine, providing a background of roasted coffee notes that denote its smooth passage through oak barrels. On the palate it is round, powerful and elegant. Once it reaches its optimum point of ripeness, the harvest is carried out as early as possible to preserve its freshness as much as possible.

“While Wynand Grobler s small winery is located in Tulbagh, this impressive Shiraz is made from grapes sourced in the Walker Bay region. Fabulously deep purple black in colour, the 2022 offers up attractive aromatics of crushed black berries, warm plums, sweet violets, hoisin plum sauce, and Black Forest Gateau dusted with freshly ground black pepper and subtle hints of fynbos and cured meats. On the palate the wine is medium to full-bodied, coating the mouth with fleshy black berry and blueberry fruits, creamy textural tannins and yet more complexing incense, pepper and cinnamon Christmas spices. An impressive Shiraz that revels in its own uniqueness, remaining fresh and vibrant with a cool coastal vein of acidity on a long, perfumed finish. Delicious right down to the very last sip. Drink on release and over the next 5 to 8 years.” – Greg Sherwood MW.
