Day One
Arrive in Cape Town and check in at the Luxury Boutique Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch.
Dinner at Bertus Basson’s Eike Restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch, paired with Danie Steytler Jnr.’s Kaapzicht wines.
Day Two
Meet Ken Forrester of Ken Forrester Wines, and Pieter Walser of BLANKBottle at 96 Winery Road in Stellenbosch, and enjoy the perfect pairing experience.
Day Three
Visit Ellerman House’s unique Wine Gallery in the heart of Cape Town and enjoy the perfect lunch and wine pairing prepared by one of SA’s leading chefs.
Day Four
Visit Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons on the outskirts of Franschhoek hosted by winemakers Andre Roux, and Kayla Oertle-Morse in the Fredericksberg wine barrel cellar for a vertical vintage tasting followed by a three-course luncheon.
Day Five
Meet Chris Keet and his award-winning Bordeaux-style First Verse blend, with a tasting at De Toren, followed by a guided tour and tasting of 6 wines, and lunch served on the De Toren private patio.

Meet Duncan Savage in his intercity Winery in Salt River, where you will taste the Savage range of wines and enjoy lunch catered by his wife Zani in their private tasting room in the cellar.
Day Eight
Visit the high altitude vantage point on the Helshoogte Pass overlooking Stellenbosch from Tokara estate with CEO Karl Lambour, followed by a tour of the Tokara garden, and cellar, including a private tasting of their range of wines and lunch in the private function room in their restaurant, with a jeroboam of their flagship red wine, the Director’s Reserve Red.
Day Nine
Enjoy a Swartland braai with some of the rockstar winemakers of the area, including a pairing of their top wines and vintages – and be prepared to enjoy some real South African hospitality.
Day Ten
Vilafonté’s Mike Ratcliffe will host a vertical tasting of their Series M and Series C top-rated wines, followed by lunch at Stellenbosch’s much talked about Post & Pepper restaurant, known for their bespoke food and wine pairings. Followed by check-in at Hermanus’s luxury Marin Hotel, which will be the base for the remainder of the trip.
Day Eleven
Enjoy the wines and vineyards of Hamilton Russell Vineyards with Anthony Hamilton Russell and winemaker Emul Ross, with a tasting and tour of the cellar, followed by lunch and joined by Berene Sauls of Tesselaarsdal.
Day Twelve
With an early evening tour and tasting on the deck at Newton Johnson overlooking the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, the tasting will be followed by a full spread of local seafood, lamb, & pork cooked on the fire on the deck and paired with some of their finest wines.
