Nowhere is that mastery clearer than in the 2021 Vigne d’Or Red Blend. Born of one of the Cape’s greatest modern vintages, this 95-point triumph (Greg Sherwood MW) is layered with crème de cassis, violets, cherry tobacco and cedar spice, wrapped around a core of salted plum and blackcurrant purity. Dense yet seamless, powerful yet refined, it’s a wine that captures both the grandeur of 2021 and the deft hand that crafted it.
Alongside this showpiece red, we’re proud to offer the elegant 2023 Isabelle Rosé and the crystalline 2023 Vigne d’Or Sauvignon Blanc, each another expression of Mason’s formidable range.

“Consultant winemaker Adam Mason (of Klein Constantia fame) certainly got the opportunity to flex his winemaking expertise with this new release from one of the greatest Cape vintages in the past two decades, and this 2021 Terre Paisible Red Blend surely stands as one of the most exciting new red wines from the Cape in recent years. This noble expression draws on the finest fruit from the Stellenbosch region to deliver a fragrant expression with lifted aromatics of creme de cassis, pressed violets, potpourri, cherry tobacco, and sweet plums with hints of sappy cedar spice. Dense and generous but supple in the mouth, this wine shows an incredibly layered texture with a fresh seamless core of salted plums, blueberry, and black currant, all energised by a crisp, vibrant acidity and a sleek, powdery mineral tannin mouthfeel that s polished and suitably tight knit. Pale salmon in appearance, with light copper hues, this is a bold take on the classic Provençal style. Maturation in foudre has imbued the subtle fruit aromas of rose petals, pomelo zest and stone fruit with delicate marzipan notes. The richly layered palate, with its attractive savoury flavours and succulent core of fruit, reveals the benefit of lees ageing through a long and perfectly balanced finish. With only 300 cases of the maiden vintage, this wine is earmarked for allocation.
The 2023 Vigne d’Or Sauvignon Blanc is a classic expression of this varietal from Franschhoek. It presents a vibrant light green hue and an aromatic nose of lime cordial and freshly mown hay. The palate offers a perfect balance of ripe tropical fruits, with a lively acidity and creamy texture from nine months of maturation on lees. Ideal pairings include shellfish, seafood, goat cheese, vegetables, and charcuterie, making it a versatile wine for a variety of dishes.
