Description
In recognition of the subtle differences between each annual non-vintage creation, Champagne Jacquesson number their non-vintage cuvée every year, starting with Cuvee 728, released in 2004 based on the 2000 vintage. Jacquesson Cuvée 747 is based on the 2019 harvest with grapes originating from Ay, Dizy, Hautvillers, Avize and Oiry. The champagne was vinified on the lees in oak barrels with no filtration or fining. 242,012 bottles, 9,770 magnums and 398 jeroboams were produced.
Weather in 2019: Despite a mild and dry winter, three episodes of spring frosts affected Chardonnay volumes, resulting in a Pinot-dominant blend. The commitment to sustainability in the vineyard ensures the expression of each plot’s unique character, resulting in fruit of beautiful concentration and finesse. Harvest took place over ten days, from September 12th to 22nd, yielding a high-quality crop.
