Hand-harvested. From the basalt-sand soil of the Váradi vineyard on Szent György-hegy, made from 100% organic grapes. Fermented with indigenous yeast in tanks and 500 litre Hungarian barrels. Aromas of pear, apple, lemon with hints of minerals. Round and cheerful on the palate with a long mineral finish.

Hungarian expat Robert Gilvesy moved back to his homeland from Canada to establish his winery in 2012 in the Balatoni Borrégió region. He settled along the shores of Lake Balaton, on Szent György-hegy (Mount Saint George) and now owns 15ha of organic vineyards, with a focus on Olaszrizling, Furmint, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. Kékfrankos is purchased from the organically cultivated estate of Márton Ruppert.
