A deep violet colour, the wine shows aromas of red fruits and Mediterranean aromatic herbs. In the mouth, the wine has full-bodied black fruit flavours, with soft, saline notes along with elegant traces of caper, rosemary and black pepper, enhancing a long silky finish.

Agricola Punica is located in the Sulcis region of southwestern Sardinia, Italy. Established in 2002. The project was created as a collaboration between the Sardinian Santadi family, the late Dr Giacomo Tachis—the oenologist regarded as the architect of the Super-Tuscan movement – and Marchese Incisa Della Rocchetta, owner of Tenuta san Guido (famed for Sassicaia). As Antonio Galloni (Vinous) put it, “how’s that for an all-star team?”
