Description
The 2021 Comando G Rozas 1er Cru is a 100% Garnacha from the Vino de Paraje of Rozas de Puerto Real, located in the D.O. Vinos de Madrid. It is made from over 50-year-old vines grown at an altitude of 900 meters on granitic soils. The wine is a beautiful expression of high-altitude Garnacha, with a clear minerality and firm tannins.
Produced with organic and biodynamic practices, it undergoes a gentle maceration, fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open-top French oak casks, and 12 months of oak aging.
Tasting notes: Pale in color, the wine is aromatic and flavorful, offering elegance and freshness with a silky texture. Hints of sweet spices, red fruits, minerals, and firm tannins round out the profile.
Best served between 12º – 14ºC.
