Description
The 2017 Project Z Grenache is a rare gem, with only 563 bottles produced. Sourced from an old bush-vine vineyard in Darling, these Grenache grapes thrive in sandy soils influenced by Atlantic breezes. Fermented whole bunch in clay pots with carbonic maceration, the wine is aged for a year in a 500L Italian clay amphora. It offers aromas of rose, red berries, dried herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is vibrant with pure fruit, lively acidity, and fine tannins, finishing long and dry. A refined, modern expression at 13% alcohol.
