    Description

The 2022 Fattoria di Calappiano Chianti is a vibrant expression of Tuscan winemaking heritage. Crafted without barrel aging, the wine boasts a velvety texture derived from meticulous lees aging in steel vats. Bursting with ripe fruit, it delivers classic Chianti notes of cherry and redcurrant. The wine’s lively acidity and supple balance make it a standout at its price point.

The Fattoria di Calappiano, nestled in Vinci in the Montalbano region, dates back to the 1500s as a Medici estate. Today, it remains a hub of history and innovation under the stewardship of the Sensi family, producing wines that honor its rich past while embracing a modern approach.
