This expression of Bramare, from the Lujan de Cuyo vineyard, is about as serious as Malbec can get and fantastic value compared to others of the same quality which command far higher price tags. Produced from fruit sourced from old vines the wine is then barrel fermented for 18 months in both French and American oak, however 70% of the oak used is second fill meaning it imparts far less oaky flavours yet still bestows the wine with greater depth, complexity and the potential to age gracefully.
