A carefully selected blend of the three traditional Champagne varietals  bottle fermented in the traditional method. This is driven by Chardonnay and partially fermented in barrels akin to how Krug and Bollinger are produced. Easy drinking and elegant with a fine, soft mousse but enough structure and vivacity to pair well with food.

    In The Cellar
Exquisite fizz from Raimes, a family of growers based in Hampshire who have their wine made at multi-award winning Hattingley Valley. This classic Champagne blend (with 51% chardonnay at its core) is structured and expressive after 32 months on the lees giving flavours of lemon verbena, baked bread and apple pie. A name to watch; a wine to savour.

    In The Vineyard
The elegance of RAIMES English Sparkling starts to happen on the south facing slopes of our Hampshire vineyard. Here the chalk substratum is shared with that of the best vineyards in Champagne. The chalk lends a particular minerality that helps to achieve a delicate balance of ripeness, acidity and berry aroma. England is a little cooler and the impact of chalk soil can really be enjoyed in the wines. The longer season allows grapes time to ripen and develop flavours into the Autumn.
"Vibrating, fresh core, with lemon  verbena, Asian pear and a chalky minerality. Amazing drive throughout the very long finish." Gold Medal - IWC 2019
