    Taking a ‘hands on’ approach to winemaking since 1998, the McLachlan family strive to produce wines that embody the absolute best of Central Otago.

    Organic farming is fundamental to every aspect of Peregrine Vineyard Estates, with a holistic approach that integrates crop and livestock farming to vineyard management. The talented estate farming team are as adept at nurturing vines, as they are developing new land, or working with livestock.

    In The Cellar
    A combination of whole bunch pressing and destemmed fruit with some skin contact. Cool stainless steel fermentation.

    In The Vineyard
    Organically certified fruit from Central Otago - Peregrine Estate Bendigo (60%) and Cromwell Basin (40%). The 2021 season began with a warm, dry spring in Central Otago. This combined with a cooler growing season resulted in smaller bunches and berries, with lovely purity and intensity of flavour. Warm, dry days in autumn provided lovely ripening and favourable harvest conditions.
