Barti Spiced from The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company is a blend of Caribbean rums spiced with notes of vanilla, cloves and orange and a special ingredient: Pembrokeshire laver seaweed, also known as Welshman’s caviar. As it’s bottled at 35% ABV, it can’t technically be called a spiced rum, due to laws and that. The name derives from a famous Pembrokeshire Pirate, ‘Barti Ddu’, or in English ‘Black Bart’.
