Owned by a family of Provençal winegrowers since 1953, Château l’Afrique is today run by the descendants of Gabriel Sumeire, on the Côtes de Provence Pierrefeu terroir. The statue adorning the label, dated 1840 and placed at the end of the estate alley, is the work of sculptor Antoine Aprile, native from Cuers.
