    Owned by a family of Provençal winegrowers since 1953, Château l’Afrique is today run by the descendants of Gabriel Sumeire, on the Côtes de Provence Pierrefeu terroir. The statue adorning the label, dated 1840 and placed at the end of the estate alley, is the work of sculptor Antoine Aprile, native from Cuers.

    Cuers-Pierrefeu : the red sandstone bedrock has produced a sandy limestone soil, which has combined with colluvial soil from the areas of high ground on either side of the terroir. Sustainable farming and High Environnemental Value.
    An expressive and fresh nose of white peach, acacia and roses. The palate is elegant and well balanced with notes of pear and a citrus fruit finish.
