Comte Lafond, ancestor of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, was the first to purchase vineyards in the Loire in the XVIII century. Native from Burgundy region he decided to diversify his vineyard properties. Since then Domaine Comte Lafond has continued to flourish and today produces great white Sancerre wines as well as red and rosé.

    In The Cellar
Grapes picked from vineyard blocks are vinified separately and then blended together for best balance. No oak ageing.

    In The Vineyard
This wine comes from the hilltop town of Sancerre on the left bank of the Upper Loire at an elevation of around 300m. The flint, gravel and limestone soils yield a mineral character to the Sauvignon Blanc grape.
