Domaine Saint-Julien is a family owned and operated property consisting of thirty hectares comprised of olive groves and almond trees as well as vineyards. Their approach very much begins in the vineyards, with ultimate respect for their environment and they’re currently undergoing their transition towards becoming certified as an Organic grower, now in their final year of the process.
The entirety of their production is estate grown, meaning they only use grapes cultivated by their hand, in their vineyards, not sourcing any from external growers. This practice underlines their commitment to quality and is an ethos not always undertaken in Provence.
The wine is redolent with a charming character of peaches and apricots complemented by fresh lavender and violets which is so indicative of Provence rosé.
A wine which delivers well above its price point, even when tasted against more famous names boasting much bigger marketing budgets.
