    In The Cellar
In the cellar, small foudres are used for the cuvées, along with some barrels, and there are still some old fiberglass tanks as well as some traditional underground tanks. Two old and two new foudres are used and blended according to the vintage, as the aim is not to have too much wood in evidence.

    In The Vineyard
Les Cornuelles Vieilles Vignes is from 2.5 hectares on a south-facing slope. The vines here were planted in two separate stages. The youngest were established by Bruno's grandfather over 60 years ago, with the oldest vines well-over 100 years old.
From Bruno Sourdais' oldest vines in a fine, healthy but structured vintage in the Loire, this offers fresh, fragrant black fruit, now complemented by the start of savoury development, firm backbone and length of flavour. Elegant and generous on the palate with rounded tannins and a well-balanced finish distinctive red fruit character with notes of dried herb and minerality.
