The 2017 Black Elephant Vintners & Co. Amazing Grace Cabernet Sauvignon offers a unique profile, with riper aromas of white peach, apricot, and petrol. The wine presents a vibrantly textured, medium-bodied palate, delivering depth and persistence. The finish is mildly warm and dry, making it particularly attractive.
The vineyard’s soil is composed of decomposed crystalline subsoil with volcanic sediments, including sandstone, rhyolite tuffs, granite, shale, and clay-limestone, which contribute to the wine’s complexity. The wine undergoes a 10-month vinification process in barrels and stainless steel vats, with a very light filtration before bottling. This results in a well-rounded, outstanding wine.
