Description
The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino is a highly expressive wine with a rich, smoky bouquet of crushed strawberry, cherry, and minty herbs. On the palate, vibrant acidity lifts ripe wild berry fruits and hints of tropical citrus, leading to an exotic finish with spices and florals. Though already tempting, it benefits from further aging, with tannins subtly framing the wine’s structure. Deep ruby in color with a touch of Moroccan leather on the nose, it offers a sappy, tangy fruit profile and a long, mouth-filling finish. Best enjoyed from 2025 onwards.
