Description
Winemaking:
Crafted from vines on gravel, sand, and clay soils over limestone, the wine was aged for 14 months in 40% new French oak. The 2015 vintage benefitted from a warm, dry growing season, producing grapes of exceptional quality.
Tasting Notes:
Deep garnet in color with aromas of blackberry, cassis, violet, and hints of elderberries and praline. The palate reveals layers of plum, bramble, mocha, roasted chestnuts, and subtle oak spices, supported by juicy acidity and refined tannins.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with roasted lamb, filet mignon, mushroom risotto, or aged cheeses.
