The members of the Delaforce family, of Huguenot origin, have a history linked to the wine trade, going back over 400 years. Their involvement in the Port Wine business dates back to 1834 when John Fleurriet Delaforce travelled to the city of Porto to found the new company of Martinez Gassiot on behalf of his partners. In 1868, his son George Henry Delaforce, inspired by the richness of the Douro and the world of Port, founded his own company, House of Delaforce.
A full-bodied, lightly sweet Vintage Port with a fabulous nose of cassis, berries, and hints of licorice. Its smooth, super-soft tannins and long finish exude class, making it a standout release from Delaforce. Aged to perfection, this wine is best enjoyed from now until 2030.
