Raimes, Blanc de Noir, South Downs, England, 2016
An enchanting pale gold colour plays in the glass of the Champagne method Blanc de Noir from Raimes in Hampshire. The entirety of their fruit is grown on family farmed vineyards located within the South Downs national park. The blend is composed of 52% Pinot Noir with Pinot Meunier making up the remainder.
Crunchy crab apple and pink grapefruit tantalise the tastebuds, complemented by notes of  warm brioche on the finished. This exceptional wine cries out for pairing with shellfish, especially oysters.
Just 2000 bottles of the 2016 vintage Raimes Blanc de Noir were produced, meaning that there are 4,500 bottles of Dom Perignon produced for every one of these. If you want to indulge with something rare and exclusive save yourself £140 a bottle and buy this, or buy four of these and still save £12, either way – buy this now and thank us later.
