Haut Espoir, Shiraz Rosé, Franschhoek, South Africa, 2016
Don’t be afraid of the dark, this juicy Shiraz rosé is as dry as they come with residual sugar of only 1.2g per litre. To put that into perspective, Champagne typically has 8g/l whilst Prosecco, confusingly labelled as Extra Dry, will have 12 – 15g/l
So, not only is it a health conscious option but it’s bloody delicious as well! Vibrant red fruit and notes of white flowers, though with more depth and character than you’d find in a Cotes de Provence, carried by a wonderful freshness that makes it the perfect choice for a sunny day.
Note – the wine we have in stock doesn’t have this label as it was only introduced for the 2017 vintage
