Brookdale Estate, Chenin Blanc, Paarl, South Africa, 2019
Almost Burgundian in style, you’d be forgiven for calling it so if not for the wax and lanolin character which delivers notes of green apple and pear, star anise, yellow plum and nectarine complemented by lemon curd on brioche.
This is possibly the most impressive wine we’ve tried this year and we’re delighted to be welcoming Brookdale Estate to the Museum Wines portfolio. Our first shipment will land at the end of November and any preorders fulfilled shortly afterwards.
