Môreson goes for Gold at Decanter World Wine Awards

Môreson Wine Farm, located down the aptly named Happy Valley Road in Franschhoek, are a family run winery that I’ve had the pleasure of working with, in some capacity, for the entirety of my decade long career in the industry.

I first encountered their wines, specifically the charming Miss Molly range, whilst working as an assistant in an independent wine shop in Hampshire. Eight years later I visited the farm which led to Museum Wines becoming the exclusive UK importer for all their wines.

I last visited the winery in March this year when I was invited to attend the launch of their brand new product, a gin distilled from their estate grown Chardonnay grapes called Wildcraft Equinox 79.

These aforementioned wines have gone from strength to strength in three vintages since we received our first order and my belief in their quality has been affirmed by industry leading publication Decanter in their 2018 World Wine Awards.

The wines and their accolades are detailed below and if you click the name of the wine you’ll be transported, as if by magic, to the relevant page on our website.

Yours slurpingly,

Daniel Grigg
