Moreson Wine Farm, in the up and coming region of Franschhoek, are leading the charge towards producing wines which are made using exclusively estate grown fruit, rather than sourcing their grapes from the nearby regions of Stellenbosch and Paarl as many others do.
This pioneering endeavour has wasted no time in reaping the rewards (and awards!) with no less than 8 of their wines receiving 4.5 out of 5 stars from world reknowned South African wine critic John Platter.
And that’s not all, their tiny production Cabernet Franc received the coveted 5 star accolade for the 2015 vintage, the first year in which the wine has been produced from 100% Franschhoek grown fruit.
